Happy Hour is an hour-long improvised theatre show taking prompts from the audience to create scenes and stories. From 28 September we put on six shows at the newly refurbished Newtown Community Centre theatre. Shows were open-format taking prompts from the audience to create weird and wonderful scenes, some as one-offs and some that formed longer stories throughout the show. There was a Halloween special on all things spooky, and the closing night was a Holiday special on 14 December that closed with a song about the food you eat at Christmas.

We’ve loved playing at NCC and hope to return soon in 2024.
