From a stellar premiere performance at 2015’s New Zealand Improv Festival, The Mixtape returned for a three-night run at The Boat Cafe in July 2016. Inspired by your song choices, the improvisers of Best on Tap bring lives, loves, and laughs to the stage in a mixtape that has never been heard or seen before.

Before each show, everyone in the audience creates their own seven-track mixtape, dedicated to someone in their life. One tape will be selected and an entirely improvised story will unfold, telling the imagined story of the two people brought together by music.
